About Us
You Don't Have to Walk This Journey Alone
At The Caring Place, we believe every person living with dementia deserves to experience joy, purpose, and meaningful connection.
For over 30 years, we have provided compassionate adult day respite services that enrich participants’ lives while giving family caregivers valuable time, support, and peace of mind. We are more than a program—we are a community that walks beside families throughout the dementia journey.

Our therapeutic gardens provide a peaceful setting where Participants can enjoy nature, fresh air, meaningful activity, and moments of quiet reflection every day.
Our Story
Founded in 1992, The Caring Place has become a trusted source of hope and support for families navigating Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia in Hot Springs and surrounding communities.
What began as a community effort has grown into Hot Springs’ dementia-focused adult day respite program. Participants enjoy meaningful activities, home-cooked meals, music, exercise, friendship, and compassionate support in a safe and welcoming environment.
At the same time, family caregivers receive something equally valuable—the opportunity to rest, work, attend appointments, care for their own health, and continue supporting their loved one at home.
As our program continues to grow and evolve, our purpose remains constant: enriching the lives of people living with dementia while supporting the families who care for them.
