Make a Meaningful Difference in Someone's Day

Volunteers bring friendship, encouragement, laughter, and new experiences to The Caring Place. Whether you have a special talent to share or simply enjoy spending time with others, your presence can help create a meaningful and enjoyable day for our participants.

You do not need to be an expert in dementia care. Our staff will help you find a volunteer opportunity that is comfortable, appropriate, and rewarding.

Ways You Can Help

Every volunteer brings something special. Opportunities may vary according to current program needs, but volunteers often help in the following ways:

Meals & Hospitality

Your Time Can Create Connection & Joy

For someone living with memory loss, a friendly face, familiar song, shared laugh, or thoughtful conversation can make a lasting difference.

Volunteers also provide valuable support to our staff, helping us offer more personal attention and a wider variety of meaningful experiences. Every contribution matters—whether you volunteer regularly, help with a special event, or share a talent with us occasionally.
