Caregiver Respite Grant
Helping Families Access Dependable Respite
Caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related illness can be both meaningful and demanding. Every caregiver deserves time to rest, attend appointments, manage responsibilities, and care for their own well-being.
The Caring Place Caregiver Respite Grant helps eligible families when the cost of attendance is out of reach. While their loved one enjoys a safe, engaging day at The Caring Place, caregivers receive dependable time for themselves.
What the Grant Provides
Assistance with the cost of attendance
Approved families receive financial assistance toward attendance at The Caring Place for a limited grant period.
Approved participants may receive assistance for up to two days per week during a six-month grant period, with a maximum benefit of $3,600.

Morning and afternoon snacks

A nutritious, home-cooked lunch

Access to our secure garden and covered patio

Dependable respite for family caregivers
Grant assistance is subject to eligibility, available funding, attendance policies, program availability, and continued participation.
Who May Qualify
A family may be considered for the Caregiver Respite Grant when:
✓ The participant has Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia-related illness
✓ The participant can be safely supported in an adult day setting
✓ The household meets the current financial guidelines
✓ The participant lives with a caregiver when not attending
✓ The family needs assistance with the cost of attendance
✓ Grant funding is available
The current household-income guideline is $70,000 or less per year.
Meeting the general guidelines does not guarantee approval. Every application is reviewed individually based on program requirements, the participant’s needs, and available grant funding.
